WHO WE ARE?
Urban Barbershop Co is by owner Jess Wright, and officially opened its doors in 2019. We are a barbershop committed to building diversity within our community, all are welcomed. We do men, women, and children cuts. We are certified to cut every kind of hair texture. Additionally, we offer a variety of services and are one of the only shops in Kankakee County to offer razor blade beard trimming.

JESSICA WRIGHT
Owner, Barber
Jessica “Jess” Wright is a certified 7 year Cosmetologist and a 4 year licensed barber. Her specialties are fades and shaving. She enjoys performing old school cuts and anything with a bald fade. Clients describe her as easy going and patient. Her go to products are the Arcadia Clay and Texture Spray which are great for most styles. Her proudest work is making clients feel confident when they leave the shop. Jess states,“As long as the client’s happy, so am I.” Fun fact, Jess is a proud mother of two!
